Reliable and accurate, but with one fatal flaw |
I've owned two versions of this gauge: An LCD version that I bought 7 or 8 years ago, and the more recent LED type. Aside from the display technology, they looked identical.
They were both accurate and reliable, but they both also had very poor sealing against the tire valve. The rubber ring that seals against the valve is too hard and uneven. You have to line the gauge up very precisely, and press very hard to avoid a burst of air escaping from the tire. If you don't get a good seal, the reading can be off, and a couple of bursts of air is enough to drop a tire by 1 psi. Every time I checked my tires, this happened on at least one or two of them. It's bad enough that I got into the habit of overfilling the tires by a couple of psi so that when this happened I would not end up below the desired pressure.
I finally got tired of it and bought a $26.00 gauge at Sears that seems to be just as accurate and does not have this problem. |

over 10 years old and still accurate - time after time. |

I've probably had this even longer (3+ cars worth)but want to be conservative. I live near the beach and 3-4 times a week I'm deflating all 4 tires down to 15 pounds spring through fall, and later in the day re inflating them all. Thus I need a highly accurate, reliable gauge. This is the best one I've ever had. The battery still seems strong; readings are instant and easy to read. Only complaint is I wish it had a nub to push on the valve stem with to release a small burst of air, but I use dedicated deflaters so it's not a real issue for me. |

What it lacks in ergonomics, it makes up for in performance |
Fast, accurate, and precise are how I would describe this gauge. For those who don't know, precision is a metric of how well separate readings agree with each other. I've had problems with other gauges, where it was hard to get a reproducible reading. Not so with the Accutire.
The only improvement that could be made would be to make a more ergonomic grip. I don't think the design really makes sense given how the human hand would be holding it - but it's a very minor issue.
Get this! And make sure your tires are always inflated to their designated values (test while cold). You will get more even tread wear, performance, and mileage. |

Very Good Product |
I purchased this digital tyre gauge from Theeasystore just over a week ago.
It works fine and I have had no problems with it so far
The reading is very visible in the dark
I have no hesitation in recommending this digital gauge to any one
out there .

Easy full range with light & correct |
Top rated by a CR Mag and by me.
Good for my high presure pedle bike and my Harley.
I had a few others over the years, dial gauge and slide type.
This is by far the best. With a light and holds the presure after you remove it. I had one before that lasted about 10 years or more used it alot, I mean a lot and it broke at the input end. Had to get another and it is improved with a light. No need for a battery it has one built in that will last another. Kind of tricky to get at my custom Harly wheels but I put the bike on a jack up to 4' high anyway. |
