Great collection of top products |
I got this as a Christmas present this year and have fallen madly in love with it. The eye colors look a little too sparkly in the case, but they are very subtle when applied. I've used most of the eye colors for both day and night and they are great, apply smoothly and last.
My favorite part of the entire case is the face powders. There is a bronzer and an all over illuminator. I have been looking for an all over face powder that isn't heavy, but gives a nice subtle glow and I have found it in this pallette. My skin looks gorgeous and glows so beautifully (if I do say so myself!). The blushes are also fantastic.
I can't say enough good things about this pallette. I'll probably buy another just as "backup" because once it's gone, I know I'll be sad. |

Great value! |
I just received this item and am very pleased! So many times these items look good in the photo, but end up having tiny little sizes, ugly colors, or cheapo makeup. This has none of that! It has nice sized pans of attractive, good-quality product. The 16 shadows and 16 glosses are 1 inch square each. The bronzer and powder are 2 inch square each and the 4 blushes are 2inch by 3/4 inch rectangles.
The colors are earthy browns, grays, plums, greens and neutrals. The glosses are pinks, peaches and plums. The blushes are pinks, peaches, and a rose color. They have a nice amount of pigment so they look nice for a long time. You also get a small mascara and 2 brushes in a mirrored, fan-open case.
I am very happy that it contains nice-sized, real colors (not a case full of purple glitter!) Now, I like fun colors sometimes, too, but don't wear it as often as more traditional colors. The shadows do have a slight shimmer, but they aren't glittery. It is very appropriate for someone who is no longer 18 (like me!)Edit: You may want to keep the clear overlay sheets that come with it, instead of pitching them. They keep any stray dust contained nicely.
I wanted the Tarte palette from 2007, but it sold out before I could order. I made sure to get mine early this year as this will likely sell out, as well (especially when people see how nice it really is.) |
