Good for covering spider veins |

For years I felt my spider veins made me look older than my age. I tried Dermablend Leg and Body Cover Creme yesterday for a special occasion and was very happy with the result. I selected the color with help at an Ulta store where the product was $[...]. I used a thin coat over the visible portion of my legs, and added 1 to 2 layers where my spider veins were the worst. It does have a "makeup" look to it, but only up close. I think it worked as expected. It did rub off a bit on a long jean skirt that hit my legs, but later did not rub off on a loose dress. I skipped the finishing powder as recommended by Ulta salesperson. You may want to google before buying - I just found this for $[...] with free shipping elsewhere ([...]). |

Dermablend was "professionally" matched to my skin tone, did not cover the tattoo, looks cakey, flakes off in less than 30 minutes (even with professional application and setting powder), it stains clothing (even when allowed to dry for twice the given times), and it takes a very long time to go through several stages of application. It is a horrible product in my opinion that really really does NOT deliver what it claims. |

This product works well to cover surgical scars. You have to be mindful to match your skintone and the powder is a must to go with it. |

Doesn't Cover Tattoos |
|
This product does not cover tattoos. Even after applying several layers, I could still see the tattoo. I even had a professional application done with the product, and it didn't work. This might be ok to cover minor skin imperfections, but not tattoos. |
