Button Installation Instructions

These Instructions will help you install new templates with buttons and color palettes for your Easy Store.

Step 1 (If you already have some type of ftp software, go to step 2): Download FileZilla or another ftp software.

A.	Go to www.Downloads.com and download a free version of FileZilla or click the link below.
	(http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-20&qt=filezilla&tag=srch).

B.	Download FileZilla and follow the steps to install it.

Step 2: Download your buttons 

A.	Download your Gel buttons or Soft color buttons from our download page 	(http://www.theeasystore.com/download.php).

B.	Locate the file you have downloaded.  Right click the folder and click “extract all” to unzip the folder.

Step 3: Upload your new buttons   ** Must Read

A.	Open FileZilla, click on ‘file’ at the top and click ‘site manager’. Click ‘new site’ button and type in the 	name of your site (no www. Or .com is necessary).  Under ‘Host’ type ftp.yourwebsitename.com. (Be sure to 	replace your domain name with ‘yourwebsitename’. For example if your website name was www.google.com, you 	would type ftp.google.com) Click on ‘normal’ for the logon type and enter your ftp ‘user name’ and 	‘password’. Then click the ‘connect button’. If your information is filled in correctly your easystore files 	should appear in the ‘remote site’ window (usually located on the right side.)


B.	Locate your unzipped folder in the ‘local site’ window (usually located on the left side) and double click 	on the folder. You will see the folders and files open up in the window just below. 



C.	** Simply click and drag the three folders named images, uploadedImages, and storeOwner into the main 	directory of your ‘remote window’. (Be sure not to drop the folder into an existing folder in the remote 	window. You can drop them into the folder named “..” at the very top to be sure.)


	Now drag the file named “storeconfigurations” (from your local folder) into the “includes folder” located in 	the remote window. (Be sure that this file is dropped directly into the “includes folder”. To make sure of 	this you can double click on the ‘includes folder’ to open it up, or simply make sure that the ‘includes 	folder’ is highlighted before you let the file drop.)

Congratulations, you have finished uploading your new Easy Store buttons. Make sure to completely close your 	browser and open again to see the new buttons (Refreshing may not work).
